Hello. My name is Blake, and according to the ancient system of Chinese Metaphysics, I am currently in the ten most challenging years of my life.
For a long time, I viewed my BaZi chart (my life’s energetic blueprint) as a form of pre-destined fortune-telling. I sat through consultations where masters predicted my struggles and successes with eerie accuracy. When they told me the year would be good, I received lucrative opportunities without lifting a finger. When they told me to brace for a challenging year, I found myself bleeding cash due to unexpected events.
The turning point came after a particularly bleak consultation three years before I entered my current 10-year luck pillar. The practitioner told me I should prepare for my business to collapse, to break up with my partner, and offered zero advice on how to navigate this difficult decade other than “find a source of passive income”.
To my horror, the issues he pointed out started to manifest in the years he highlighted. Poor decisions made in a bad year caused my 8-year-old business to run into unprecedented events two years later. Revenue halved after massive platform changes. Just when I had consolidated my overheads and thought I had stabilized the bleeding, an unexpected blow forced the decision to close it in 2026.
I found myself in circular arguments with my partner and doubting our long term future together. I lost friends whose toxic behaviors I finally saw clearly for the first time. The happy life I had built in earlier, more prosperous years was unravelling, and I had no idea what I could do, or even if things would ever get better.
I couldn’t figure it out. How did I go from the peak of happiness to near-ruin in a matter of a few years? Why did all the “bad luck” seem to concentrate in a few bad years rather than spread out randomly over several years? Was the fatalistic master right, and I was simply doomed to misery for the next 10 years no matter what I did?
Seeking answers, I fed my BaZi chart into generative AI for analysis.
What I got back was a revelation. The AI confirmed the master’s prediction of a difficult time ahead, but this time, it provided a roadmap. It showed me that BaZi is not a static sentence you are forced to live out. It is a strategic map of your life’s energetic terrain.
For the first time, I found a “master” with endless patience in explaining why I should stick to entrepreneurship, why human masters thought there was a limit on my wealth generation, and why I am unlikely to find a good romantic relationship until late in life.
I have come to understand this decade is not a random “punishment”, but a tearing down of old foundations to make way for a new, hopefully healthier future. One where I am more aligned with my destiny, if I navigate my personal roadmap well.
However, I also started seeing the contradictions. The AI occasionally hallucinated combinations, clashes and harms that didn’t exist, or gave me conflicting interpretations depending on which pop astrologer it had scraped the data from.
To truly understand the “source code” the AI was referencing, I knew I had to learn it from the ground up. I sought out formal training and learned to read charts directly from a master, then started studying the foundational texts of BaZi such as the Zi Ping Zhen Quan (子平真诠) and San Ming Tong Hui (三命通会), diving deep into the classical mechanics of the system.
Then I started integrating those texts into an AI framework. My goal was to synthesize the ancient logic with an LLM that could draw from the entirety of human experience on the Internet. And from there, use it to interpret how a BaZi chart could possibly manifest in modern society.
Scripting Destiny is my real-time laboratory for this approach. It is where classical training meets modern engineering.
